Video: The Hope, The Story Of God's Promise For All People

Jesus the Biker

We believe that Jesus was a lot like you and me. The government didn't like him. The church thought he was weird. His friends were few. What friends He had, denied him. He was persecuted by hypocrites. He hung around people like you and me, and not the "goody-two-shoes" Pharisees. Yes, if Jesus were on this earth in the flesh, He would be next to you on his motorcycle telling you He loved you enough to die for you.

Jesus, The Life Changer

You see, He knows that "all have sinned and come short of His Glory." He also knows that "the wages of sin is death." That is why "while we were yet sinners Christ died for us." He even said, "If you confess with your mouth that "Jesus is Lord", and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

The truth is, this simple decision of your heart can make, "old things pass away an all things become new."

This would be a good time for you to give your life over to Jesus for a new start. Commit to Jesus, He's committed to you.

Meet My Friend

I have a friend . . .who is always faithful; who can meet all your needs; who will never leave you. This friend is Jesus Christ. Since I have known Him, He has been faithful in all His promises, "the same yesterday, and today, and forever" (Heb.13:8). Through my joys and sorrows He has been a friend that sticks closer than a brother (Prov.18:24).

I first met Him when I read His invitation in the Bible: "Come to Me, and I will give you rest - all of you who work so hard beneath a heavy yoke" (Matt.11:28). I came to Him, and He freed me from my burden of how I messed up my life and He gave me hope for living.

He meets my needs daily, and He promises, "I am leaving you with a gift, - peace of mind and heart! And the peace I give isn't fragile like the peace the world gives. So don't be troubled or afraid" (John 14:27).

When I am lonely and worried, I remember His words: "I will never, never fail you nor forsake you" (Heb.13:5). I know that even at the hour of death He will remain with me, and one day He will take me to Heaven to live with Him.

How can you and I be sure of Christ's love? Here is how to measure it - the greatest love is shown when a person lays down his life for his friends" (John 15:13). We can be assured of His love because He, the sinless Son of God, suffered for our sins on a cruel Cross at Calvary.

We can know that Christ's love for us will last forever! Because He rose from the grave and returned to the Father in Heaven, He can say, "I am the Living One who died, who is now alive forevermore" (Rev.1:18).

Yes, we can trust the Lord Jesus as our eternal friend. He invites us, "Look! I have been standing at the door and am constantly knocking. If anyone hears Me calling him and opens the door, I will come in and fellowship with him and he with Me" (Rev.3:20).

If you have never trusted Jesus as your Saviour, invite Him into your life today. Follow Him and He will never fail you. "I say emphatically that anyone who listens to My message and believes in God who sent Me has eternal life, and will never be damned for his sins, but has already passed out of death into life" (John 5:24).

Thoughts In Solitude

My Lord God, I have no idea where I am going. I do not see the road ahead of me.

I can not know for certain where it will end. Nor do I really know myself, and the fact

that I think that I am following your will does not mean that I am actually doing so.

But I believe that the desire to please you does in fact please you. And I hope I have

the desire in all that I am doing.  I hope that I will never do anything apart from that

desire.  And I know that if I do this you will lead me by the right road though I may

know nothing about it. Therefore will I trust you always though I may seem to be lost

and in the shadow of death.  I will not fear, for you are ever with me, and you will

never leave me to face my perils alone.
